Can you see it??
When I am photographing our home is often the time when I'm able to see it most clearly for tweaking. Admittedly, sometimes what is great in person, doesn't translate in a photo, and sometimes a photo helps you see more clearly what you missed in person.
For the photo above I had already taken the photos for the collection, but then the light happened to be beautiful so I grabbed my camera and took a couple of longer shots of the whole room. I decided I needed another layer - can you see what I added below?
The pillow on the far chair needed a little contrast. So, I added one of our Warm Wraps. It isn't a complete throw (that would cost $100+), but a little cozy (inexpensive) wrap meant to be worn. And I do - I wear them around my shoulders as a shawl with a simple top, or as a scarf with a jacket. I have been collecting these for years.
In addition to wearing our Warm Wraps, I also throw them over the back or arm of most chairs in our home. I do use real throws on the sofas (where they'll actually be used), but the chairs usually just need a little something - an extra layer - and these Warm Wraps work perfectly.
