With the shop rebranding to Privet House this summer, we've slowly evolved the packaging of our orders to reflect our new look. I LOVE how our new white stamped boxes look - these are all done by hand before each order is packed. As you know, all of our boxes are lined with a sheet of our wrapping paper. We encourage you to reuse it! We take every effort to package our orders as environmentally friendly as possible with everything being paper & reusable.
We also want our orders to feel like a gift to you. This season we are including a printed recipe card with one of my favorites - Spiced Pumpkin Bread. If there is one recipe I will make each fall, it is this pumpkin bread. It is heavily spice, dense and so good with a generous slathering of butter. I highly recommend it with coffee for breakfast or an afternoon treat.
It makes a great gift when baked in our Baking Baskets and paired with a tea towel or tablet.

I've included a few photos here of our Workshop in Lexington, our official headquarters from where all of our packages are packed and shipped. We call it the "cute warehouse."
We like to do everything from beginning to end in a beautiful way, from where we work to how we work and what we make. I think our pretty products and packages are the product of all of these things combined. Oh, and all of the girls that work here are dear friends of mine.
I love this building. It has soaring high tin ceilings, exposed brick walls, and original wide pine floors. It has huge storefront windows and a lovely, heavy and thick original wooden door that creeks when you open it. It just has that feel. And it is huge – 4,000+ square feet.
Lexington’s (Lexington, Missouri) downtown is so very charming, filled with history and beautiful Antebellum architecture. It is the perfect backdrop for our business.
